Our guide Moses was very knowledgable unfortunately we could not summit due to a snowstorm but it was a great time we would recommend it as they were very good and it is a lot cheaper than others

Cheap, inexperienced and unreliable. As someone who has hiked many 6km peaks, I can list many things that went wrong: * They did not tie everyone together with ropes. That's lazy and selfish, because if someone falls you'll be able to catch them if the ropes are a proper length. * Everyone on the tour was acclimatized to Mexico City, and so they should have brought us to the higher base camp at 4700 meters. Instead, they had us stay at 4000m and drove us in the morning. * They wanted to bring us to the summit at 11am. Sunrise always has the best weather conditions for a mountain like this. * Rather than gradually walk up with short breaks, we took very long breaks. It was an unnecessarily long walk up. * More importantly, they were also taking too many breaks on the way down. This is dangerous for high altitude hikes, you should go down as fast as possible. * They claimed that the hike was too icy, and made us turn around after going 80% of the way. Crampons are meant for ice, and it was more snowy so that wasn't exactly true. I would have been just as safe on my own. Also, they lied about a few important things. 1. They rescheduled my hike 1 day earlier because of "the weather". Really, it was because they couldn't fill the tour for the next day. I understand, but at least be honest about it. 2. They never intended on bringing us to the top the whole time. Judging from the speed, laziness, and quick decision to turn around. It was obvious that they just wanted to call it a day, and bring us down earlier. Also they price gouge, which I know is typical for Mexico. The price immediately went from 6000 pesos to 5000 pesos, when I had mentioned that I was considering doing it without a group.
