Ace The Himalaya

I booked this trek for February and was little skeptical on how cold the conditions will be in mountains. But my all questions were answered by the ACE manager Sujan. Our trip began a day late due to bad weather in Lukla, but Maddy, our guide, rearranged all the trip so that we can come back on time for our return flight. While on trek, he gave us important tips on where to seat on plane for best pictures on flight to Lukla, what and what not to eat during trek, he would tell us if we are going too fast to prevent sickness and tell us history about places along the way. His knowledge on names and heights of mountain was very good! On the day of base camp trek, one of the team members experienced altitude sickness, his oxygen states went below 20. Maddy immediately arranged oxygen tanks, communicated with insurance and got team member evacuated via helicopter the very next morning to kathmandu. He was very calm, collected and professional during this mishap. Despite starting a day late, we finished a day early. He rearranged the flight immediately for a day early which gave us 2 days to explore Kathmandu. Even in Kathmandu he arranged a cab for us to go and explore the popular spots in the city. I would highly recommend Maddy. I wanted to thank the porters Sher and Deepak, who worked very hard to carry our bags to and back from EBC. They were also with us and guided us on our way back when Maddy was helping one of our team members. I would highly recommend Maddy and ACE the himalaya for your upcoming EBC trip

Super organized tour with all the details and constant support! Of course not for beginners, but you always feel safe and well organized! Our Sherpas Pikas & Bikash have been incredibly supportive and were always on hand and in good spirits!

Guide (Suniel) and porters (Pradape/Bikass) were super nice and supportive. Guide was informative. Porters were always nice. Would definitely use these guys again.

This was my first time on an organized trekking trip, and I must say I was not disappointed. The guide on the trip was top notch, very knowledgeable, and professional, not to mention a genuinely nice person, very easy to interact with and always happy to answer questions. The rest of the staff from the office to the porters are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have a memorable experience. I would 10/10 recommend to family, friends, or complete strangers
