All through fantastic experience. After walking the classic Inca trail (4D/3N) with Action Peru Treks, we agreed that seriously there was nothing to put a finger on. The team made every tent camp a home, the chefs spelled out the most tasty, versatile and nutritious food at each meal. After two weeks in Peru, we haven’t found any better food than what the chefs made for us in the mountains. And then there is Lino!! His enthusiasm infected us: we became Inca, bird, plant, etc. His knowledge is enormous, and he was constantly aware of both us and the environment. It is also worth mentioning that the company is one of the few completely local companies that arrange this tour. This means that both chefs and carriers come from the area and that the company actively makes a difference for the employees’ families and small local communities in the area around Cusco. We can only recommend Action Peru Treks. It is unbelievable nature experiences, saturated stomachs, safe sleep, new knowledge - pure happiness!!!!

Roxner's team gave us an unforgettable stay in Machu Picchu. It was simply wonderful: perfect organization, excellent and fast communication and maximum flexibility. It couldn't be more professional. Our guide Lino led us along the Inca Trail and was also super professional and extremely friendly. He knew just about everything about the Incas and explained it in excellent English. We can't imagine a better and more gracious tour guide! Action Peru Treks is also a local company that uses its income to support social projects - so the money stays in the country. Definitely do it, we would give it 10 stars!

My girlfriend and I recently completed the 3-night, 4-day Inca Trail with Action Treks, and I can honestly say it was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. Our guide, Nifilton, was a remarkable individual—knowledgeable, passionate, and deeply connected to the history of the trail and Machu Picchu. As a fellow history enthusiast, I found his storytelling and insights to be invaluable. He brought the past to life in a way that felt authentic and deeply personal, which made our trek all the more meaningful. The physical demands of the Inca Trail are no joke, but we were supported every step of the way by an extraordinary team. Freddy, our chef, worked culinary magic at every meal. It’s hard to believe he could create such delicious and beautifully presented dishes in the middle of the Andes! The five additional porters on our trek were equally phenomenal—cheerful, hardworking, and always there to lend a hand or offer encouragement when the trail got tough. Action Treks provided us with an experience that felt intimate and unique. This wasn’t a cookie-cutter tour; it was a journey that felt personal and enriching. The camaraderie with the team and the breathtaking landscapes made every challenging moment worthwhile. We had such a great time and experience. The trail was challenging but our guides were patient and helpful. They made the experience possible and way more enjoyable. Christian, our guide is highly recommended! I really felt like he made an effort to get to know us and have fun. We laughed together and learned about each other. He was checking on us to make sure we were okay and he was knowledgeable about everything we asked. He gave us recommendations of things to see in Lima as well. I would love to go with him again because he was really THAT good.
