Shokh is an amazing guide. He is very nice and knowledgeable. He is able to customize your trip base on your needs, and you can put your trust in him that he will be able to guide and manage your trip well. Speaks fluent english and a fun chill guy to trek with. Takes great photo too.

He will help you manage your hotel, meals, transportation and you can also have the flexibility to choose yourself if you want. A great example is when i originally only planned an ABC trek but when my trip extended 7 days extra in the middle of the ABC trek, he is able to quickly come up with a good itinerary for an extra Mardi Himal trek.

Highly recommend if you need a guide in Nepal.

There were so many hurdles leading up to the trip, but Shokh, our guide, was extremely helpful and responsive. He was always there to help us resolve problems immediately. I have just returned from climbing Island Peak with Kul’s team from Everest Adventures Team. It was a fantastic experience that I will never forget and highly recommend. Kul arranged my climbing permit and my climb really quickly and arranged for me to meet Pasang Sherpa at Chhukung a few days later. 

Pasang is a really friendly Sherpa and certainly knows Island Peak very well. He accompanied me to basecamp and gave me the equipment to borrow for the climb, which is kept at basecamp. Whilst there we did some training for the technical parts of the climb and ate some fantastic food cooked by Kul’s basecamp team. The tents are really comfortable with mattresses and well positioned for comfortable sleeping. 

We set off at 0100hrs and we were the first team on the summit and had it to ourselves as we watched the sun rise over Peak 38 and shine off Ama Dablam. It is an experience I will never forget.
