Since there weren't enough people interested in the tour to Lagoon 69, Leonardo from Akilpo quickly organized a driver for us, who drove us to the starting point of the hike. Leonardo is super personable & service-oriented.
I did the 4 day Santa Cruz trek with them, booked online and joined an existing group. Overall, I had a great time. The guide Walter was great, as well as the chef and donkey driver. Would recommend! They were able to accommodate gluten free food, as well as vegetarian for another person. Though, I would say that if you are tight on $, I've heard there are much cheaper options in Huaraz when booking in-person that still have good service. I'd imagine it depends on the season as well, I was in the off season (Jan).
Very very kind The people at the reception spoke English very well and I was impressed that they greeted Koreans in Korean. They helped me a lot when I arrived at 7 in the morning. The tour was also explained in detail using Google Maps. The room was also very nice. I recommend it, but one thing to note is that when you make a reservation through the site, a compensation email is sent to you, and you must copy and send the response. If you don't show it, your reservation will be cancelled, so check your email carefully.
Very satisfied. With the panorama hike almost first at lagoon 69. Good guides, good breakfast and lunch. Punctual (which is an exception in Peru). Furthermore, good advice, GPX file and arranging transport for our independent hikes on the other days. The office door is usually closed; Just ring the bell, they are there.
A nice spacious room with hot shower. But the good experience comes from the people who work there. They are hardworking, have a sense of humor and want to help you with everything. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thanks again!
