My husband and I want to thank ALE for making our Emperor Penguin tour truly memorable for our 40th anniversary. Many thanks to Stephanie for answering my endless stream of questions, Lucas who provided excellent pre and post tour services in Punta Arenas, Dave for introducing us to Calafate Sours and most of all, the Gould Bay Camp staff, including Jim’s flight crew, who worked tirelessly round the clock to keep the camp safe and the Basler flight-ready – and yet were always there to assist any of us with a smile. I certainly appreciated Casper and Yoshi for their help as I was much less adept than the Emperors in navigating a blizzard, Jim for teaching me to dry my boot liners properly (which ranked with hot water bottles in sleeping bags and hand warmers in mitts as top requirements for a comfortable Penguin Camp stay), and Noah for trying to entertain our group with rounds of board games when we were all stuck indoors without power during the storm. The focus on customer service throughout the entire organization is what makes this trip so amazing. We went for a skydive in Antarctica. Every single staff member was an exceptional human being. Highly knowledgeable and experienced team. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Comfort level was 10/10 in such a harsh environment, we did not expect that it was possible. Brittni, Avi & Brook made us feel right at home immediately. Their ice sculpturing work was spectacular and individualised for us. I mean the work - just WOW. Lectures that were organised were truly unforgettable. Katja, Collin, Avi & Christopher were very well read & researched with fascinating facts and stories.Never a dull moment with them. Excursions were enjoyable. Guides were perfect. Especially Christian, he was amazing, knowledgeable, caring. We learned a lot from him. Our safety was never in question, they legit thought about everything and anticipated things very well. Josh & team made extra sure and were constantly vigilant. Their gift shop was full of high quality one of a kind merchandise. The food was exquisite. Very considerate to food preferences/ vegan/halal/vegetarian/ gluten free. Every meal was perfect. The staff at the Punta arenas office was so experienced, everything was super smooth. Big shout out to Alberto and Ranata who were our team managers. They had extra high quality for rental in every size imaginable. Transfers and transport was very smooth. The rest of the staff, which we met briefly and the ones who were behind the scenes- also Mega Thank you. Your hard work did not go unnoticed. Big Mike was so humble and warm to us. Man what an adventure we had with ALE. I thought Antarctica was a once in a lifetime place to go to. But they activities they offer and the level of service just compels you to plan another trip.

Had a great guided snowmobile trip with these guys. Took us up a closed road for winter and had one of the coolest days in 2018 with this crew. Offer breathtaking views at top.

ALE Antarctica expedition support is beyond amazing. Loved the camp on Union Glacier, and all the support they gave me as I biked to the South Pole. I can't say enough good things about ALE!
