I must start by indicating a duo, Mary and Manuel de Cusco B&B who, recommended them. Whatsapp with Amy (gringa) who with her husband, Cusi surname, put together this magnificent tourism agency. Everything was arranged via whatsapp and e-mail. The attention and professionalism demonstrated was a reality and, everything went perfectly. The guide Flor and the driver Donato who accompanied us on the 4 Tours of Cusco and the sacred valley geniuses. THANK YOU.

Cusi Travel made our trip to Peru one of the best trips we have ever been on! I love to research the destination we're traveling to and usually do most of the planning. Peru proved to be much more complicated and almost impossible for me to plan an itinerary. We went to a wedding in the Sacred Valley and I asked the bride to be for a reliable travel agent . Jose Cusi is from Peru and Amy from the United States. We like unusual and different places to see and gave them our itinerary and had them set up all the arrangements, transportation and all tickets and other items for us. Not only did they do exactly what we wanted, but they taught me that all the stress and time I usually have in planning a trip was all taken away--I just relaxed and enjoyed. They were so easy to work with and did some last minute changes for us effortlessly. I would recommend Cusi Travel for anyone going to Peru--they were simply the best. Robin Blocker

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Cusi Travel did an excellent job coordinating the majority our 11 days in Peru. Amy was an excellent resource and correspondent as she aided in planning our visit to the Amazon Rainforest, as well as the Sacred Valley-Machu Picchu-Cusco portion of our trip. She selected reputable, comfortable 4 star hotels, along with planning all the transportation for us, except flights. Our stay at Refugio Amazonas was amazing and our guide while there, Listen, was wonderful. The staff was great and the lodge was beautiful and unique. This was a great way to start our time in Peru, being all-inclusive! For the second half of our trip, we had Edwin as our guide. We won the lottery here! His knowledge, care and attention was great. The information we received during all site tours was invaluable and I knew this would be the benefit of having a local guide. We cannot speak highly enough about our time with Edwin as well as the extremely nice hotels and transportation organized for us!

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Cusi Travel and with Edwin Cusi. We did a day private tour to Sacsayhuaman, Maras, and Ollantaytambo, a 5 day trek to Choquequirao, and 1 day at Machu Picchu with Cusi Travel (7 days total) as part of our honeymoon travels. I was so impressed with everyone, and the entire experience. I am a professional Andean archaeologist, and Professor at a university. Not only did Edwin accurately and enthusiastically describe the archaeological sites, I learned things from him along the way. He has a true passion for what he does, but he also takes the time and effort to be up-to-date with the latest information coming out of the Peruvian Ministry of Culture and associated archaeological excavations. During the trek to Choquequirao, we were accompanied by two chefs, and a horseman. The food was EXCELLENT (I truly did not expect to eat as well as I did on the trek). We were never hungry, and we always had delicious food. More importantly, everyone was so kind, thoughtful, and made sure that we felt safe and prepared for our trek. Choquequirao is NO joke. It was a tough hike for someone who didn't train (me!). But during our time hiking, Edwin was incredibly attentive and thoughtful with regards to pacing and our safety. I was fairly slow compared to Edwin and my husband, but he always took care to set to my pace, give encouraging words, and make conversation when I was challenged by the hike. Even more importantly, it is rare in the US to be on Indigenous land and learn about that land from Indigenous peoples. With Cusi travel, you will travel through Quechua land and learn about Quechua land from Quechua people, on their terms (and searching Cusi Travel's website, you can see how much they truly care about sustainability, community care, and initiatives that give back). I truly cannot appreciate enough how grateful I am to our entire team for all they did to show us the highlands, all she offers us, and all she does to take care of us.

Jaime Cusi was a really great tour guide. He helped make our trip very easy and everything went according to plan. He had so much information to share with us about every archeological site, as well as very interesting information about indigenous culture and the history of Peru.
