Exodus Travels

We and some friends joined on the 13 day TMB. It was well run and designed. Met very closely the conditions described. The walking tour around mt blanc itself is an amazing, fun, challenging and beautiful way to spend two weeks n the French,Swiss and Italian alps. The highlight of exodus was their guide MIKE. He was exceptional. Calm, knowledgeable and contributed immensely to our enjoyment of the trip. Thanks Mike!

We book a trip to Egypt with Exodus UK, in February 2024. We travel in November 2024, as planned. It was included a four nights Nile cruise, in a cabin with balcony and no carpet, as we could see in the pictures they promoted in their website. When we arrived there, the cabin had carpet and no balcony. Two nights we were docked very near other boats, we could hear the workers talk and smell the oil from the engines. So, they promised something and they provide you with less. We are not planning to travel with them again.

Travelled to Portugal in October 2023. Read all older reviews with a note that Exodus has changed ownership. My experience, as a previously long time Exodus traveller, is that the experience is now poor, and the customer service virtual. Might suit a younger crowd who don’t mind following daily instructions from a spreadsheet on your phone, and reading about what you are visiting on Wikipedia, as the guides are gig economy now, know little, and give the minimum, then disappear.

My confidence in this company has been shaken, issues with trip hotel and tour guide which impacted my holiday to India. Both were reported and feedback given a month ago and no response or follow up was given till now.

Worst group tour from the point of view of lack of information, service and organisation provided by Exodus Australia. Classified as a premium adventure but suffered from lack of updated itinerary (incorrect order of hotels, UK participants received accurate one) inadequate description provided for optional activities , poor travel notes, poor choice of restaurant first night, several so-called 5 star hotels but given most basic rooms with no choice , uncomfortable overcrowded bus -too small for group size and additional overnight bags which had to be accommodated on board ,no wifi until last day, wet seats.”Sundowner” was a quick drink on terrace 15minutes in middle of day equivalent to a welcome drink ( misinformation).
