We had an amazing trip with Friends Adventure. Communication before the trip was very smooth. Once at the airport they came to pick us up, gave us a warm welcome and we got some tips for visiting the city. They checked our gear as well and provided better sleeping bags. Then we started with the tamang heritage trail. Great to get to know the culture (our guide and porter Kanchha and Lalbir explained us a lot) and we often spent the evening in the kitchen of the tea house. Then we moved on to the Langtang trek. Great views of mountains, forests (we saw lots of wildlife), waterfalls,... After that we still hiked to Gosainkunda. The views of the mountain ranges were spectacular. And all this time we had a lot of fun with our guide and porter and they thought us a lot about nature, culture,... always looking out for us, providing food, tea and dessert,... I would strongly recommend them both: Kanchha and Lalbir! Great duo!

Would highly recommend friends adventure Team for any trekking in Nepal. We did the annapurna base camp trek together with our guide Ven Dong and porter Mann and enjoyed it every step of the way. Everything was very organised and felt very safe.

What an adventure! And so happy to have been supported in this by the Friends Adventure Team! Organising long distance with Rajendra went super smooth. We decided to combine a few treks: Tamang Heritage Trail followed by Langtang Valley Trek and to finish with a trek to Gosainkunda lakes. Truly everything had been arranged for us, from pick-up at the airport to trekking gear and daily deserts. We felt like real VIPs. Thank you Kanchha - our guide - for taking the time to tell us all about local culture and history, for teaching us nepali language, for being an open- minded person who is very easy to talk to and for pushing us all to reach our goals albeit slowly-slowly. I feel eternally grateful to Lalbir for being our porter, I would not have managed if I had to carry all that weight! To me, you are superhuman, always with a smile on your face and ready to joke with everybody! Easypeasy 😉 If you are looking for someone to show you Nepal, look no further, Friends Adventure Team is the way to go!

We just returned from 17 nights in Nepal. This was a wonderful holiday thanks to the assistance and incredible flexibility of Friends Adventure Team Pvt. Ltd. The owner Rajendra Lama and his brother, Dhabindra Lama Tamang Dabi, our “trekking” guide, did everything in their power to help make this holiday memorable. We were met at the airport by our city guide Lama Tamang Dabi, who greeted us with lovely flower leis. We appreciated having a guide and driver as we explored Kathmandu. As amateur photographers we were always given ample time to take photos. We timed our holiday to be in Kathmandu during the Tihar festival/ Yamapanchak/ Dipawali which are celebrated over a five day period, beginning with Kaag Tihar. Kathmandu is a city of narrow, busy streets but during the festivals, it was sensory overload, with people, colors, lights, noise and handmade Mandalas. There was no shortage of shops or restaurants. We appreciated that Friends Adventure ensured that we had our choice of places to eat food, to our liking. On the 5th day we were invited into the family home of our tour operator and welcomed as a “Brother and Sister” in a ceremony. We really felt part of their family and loved the authentic experience. Dhabindra shared his love of the land, people and culture. We were planning on trekking in the lower Mustang area, but when this did not turn out to be what we had expected, Rajendra and Dhabindra graciously and impressively were able to make major changes to our itinerary, to accommodate us. We visited several interesting small communities where we met local people and tourists. A quick change in plans allowed us to spend more time in Pokhara where we did a lovely hike, visited monasteries, temples and enjoyed taking photos and people watching along the waterfront. The mountain ranges around Mustang and Pokhara are spectacular. Again, Friends Adventure was very accommodating, and we ended our holiday in Bhaktapur, as requested. We really appreciated the extra care and attention, as Rajendra Lama escorted us back to the airport for our final farewells and parting gifts.

Excellent service from Rajendra and his team. We had a royal experience. We will surely be back and use the Team again to explore other parts of Nepal...especially the far east.
