This was a bucket list item and well worth it. We were nervous because of the altitude, but it was ok. Our guide made it really special. He walked up and down while we ride the horses. He was there with us every step of the way and even played a flute so we got to listen to Andes music while riding horseback at high elevation in the Andes. What’s not to love about that. We were lucky that it didn’t rain on us (January) but the risk was worth it (fewer people). The door to door service was right on, the drive to the mountain was beautiful, the lunch was amazing and we were very well taken care of. If you go to Peru, don’t miss this (if you’re confident you don’t get altitude sick).

Our group of 14 (friends and family) recently visited Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu, including a one-day hike on the Inca Trail. While the destinations themselves were undeniably breathtaking, the true highlight of our journey was the seamless planning and timely execution of our experiences, all thanks to the exceptional Kondor tour guides—Odon, Christian, and Fernando. Their flexibility in accommodating last-minute requests and managing the inevitable delays of a large group made all the difference. A special mention goes to Odon, whose sense of humor and deep knowledge of every site we visited truly enriched our adventure.

They offered a bunch of options for getting around—whether you wanted to trek or take a bus. This was perfect for our group since we had different preferences. They knew so much about the history and culture of the places we visited, especially Machu Picchu. Along with their stories and insights, Mr. Ondo’s sense of humor added so much to our experience, making it even more memorable.Fernando was great at driving us around safely and on time. Cristian Lara was exceptional at guiding the kids on the trek. The itinerary they put together was spot on. We got to see all the highlights in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu without feeling rushed. Each stop was well-timed, giving us plenty of time to soak in the stunning views and take photos. Kondor Path Tours took care of all the bookings and tickets for us, which was a huge relief. From accommodations to transport and entry fees, they handled everything smoothly, so we could just focus on having fun. Overall, I can’t recommend Kondor Path Tours highly enough. They made our trip unforgettable with their attention to detail, fluency in English, and commitment to making sure we had a great time.

Kondor Path Tours has a great and flexible tour package. All the passes/tickets were taken care of by KPT. This made things easy when catching the IR train to Machu Picchu, or any of the other venues. We did the four day tour and Odon was our tour guide; he is the GOAT! He is super professional, always on time, knowledgeable, and very eager to answer questions and educate along the way. Our driver was very safe and professional. He was eager to pull over to get pictures or make a restroom stop. When we come back to Peru for another tour we will definitely be using KPT in the future and recommend you do as well!
