Marvel Adventure

This January 2025 was my first time trekking in Nepal, and I had many questions. The agency always responded kindly and promptly, offering helpful advice. In the end, I decided to join the ABC Trekking solo, and whenever I had any questions, the agency was there to provide suggestions. Upon my arrival in Nepal, I was warmly welcomed, and they gave me a basic introduction, which made my journey relaxing and enjoyable. My flight to Pokhara was delayed by over 4 hours, but the agency helped me obtain proof from the airline and was always responsive to my needs. During the trek to ABC, the guide and porter took excellent care of me, prioritizing my needs. Overall, the entire journey was a wonderful experience.

I did the Annapurna BC with Marvel recently (end of Jan 2025) and it was a wonderful experience. It was my first time in the Himalayas, and in Nepal, and from the very first exchanges with Niri it was clear that I was dealing with a professional and trustable person. He was helpful and extremely kind during the entire planning phase. Airport pickup and greetings in Katmandhu, flight tickets and another warm welcome by my guide in Pokhara… Niri is genuinely kind, trip logistics were impeccable. To be added that I was coming straight from a business trip, and had little time to plan everything independently, and also short time to complete the trek. Niri made strong effort to arrange everything perfectly well, never compromising safety. The weather was marvelous, and we finally completed the full trek in 2 and 1/2 days, which saved me enough time to visit Kathmandu. A special mention to my guide, Dibash: he was PHENOMENAL. A truly professional guide that makes the whole experience even more magic. Besides the full advantages of having someone explaining to you the local culture, history, etc., Dibash was simply a great company, someone that you take pleasure to spend time with. Perfect English and absolute fantastic knowledge about history, culture, economics, business, aviation, mechanics… and mountains, of course! I couldn’t think of a better guide, and I am very grateful for having him with me on this trip. To sum it all: I can only recommend Marvel to other travelers willing to explore the Himalayas: great people, kind, professional and well organized. I will certainly come back with my family for other trips. Thank you Dibash and Niri!

I did everest base camp 12 days, it was an unforgetable experience, my guide was Sanchaman he made sure that I was safe all the time. Since it was just me, he fix the schedule on my request as long as it was possible, and it was perfect for the end of the trip. I highly recomend Marvel Adventures, they were super attentive with me, and made my trip perfect.

What a wonderful trek! Best organisation and itinerary I could have asked for. Nir had everything covered and provided a very nice down jacket for seamless pre-trek planning. Our guide Phinjo was amazing. He has astounding knowledge of the region and took care of everything on the trek from meals to morale. They even took us out for drinks afterwards to complete the wonderful experience.

We did a trek to ABC during winter with Phinjo Sherpa and had our expectations exceeded time and time again. Some highlights: 1. Marvel was quick in accomodating our requests for a custom start date and adding an extra night at MBC. 2. Phinjo and Nir (the company head) made sure our gear was adequate before the hike and took us to buy last minute items we needed like crampons in Kathmandu at reasonable prices. The company rented warm down jackets for each of us (at no additional cost). 3. For the flights to and from Pokhara Phinjo arranged seats with the airline so our party had views to the mountains. 4. Every night Phinjo would spend time in the kitchen observing the quality and freshness of the food and let us know if anything should be avoided. None of us got sick. 5. Phinjo made a video montage of our trek from footage he took each day. 6. “All meals included” meant we could choose one of any item off the menu for each meal, and there was no discouragement towards choosing a 1200 rupee set breakfast rather than a 400 rupee muesli. Phinjo and our porters often served our meals personally. 7. Marvel was prepared to be flexible with our itinerary (i.e. staying in different villages) depending on weather and how much we were comfortable walking each day, which isn’t always the policy of other companies. Overall, Phinjo’s knowledge and experience helped us complete our trek safely and we learned a lot about Nepal along the way. And while you may end up with a different guide for another trek, the company as a whole demonstrated that they genuinely care about creating great experiences through their equipment checks, meal policies and by checking in with the guide during the trip to see how things are going. Nir also met with us at our hotel before and after the trek. This experience was exceptional value for the price we paid, and I think other agencies would struggle to create the same quality of experience regardless of what they charge.
