We’ve just come back from the most fabulous adventure with the guys from Nepal Adventure Point. Our guide Padam was extremely helpful, he personally took us out to see Kathmandu, and the local way of life as well as the ancient temples. The Poon Hill Trek itself was incredible, we spent 6 days walking the Annapurna trail staying in the traditional foothill villages, and getting up early to see the sunrise over the Himalayan peaks, which is awesome. This was my first overnight hike so we’d chosen a moderate route and Padam kept the pace easy so I could keep up! He’s an expert Everest guide and a really nice guy with some great stories of his expeditions. The young porter Prakish is learning the routes and improving his English, so he can go on to be a guide in the future. After the hike we chilled out by Pokhara Lakeside for a couple of days and then went down for a wildlife safari in Chitwan National Park. We got back to Kathmandu just in time for the Dipawali festival, when the whole city is lit up with oil lamps and lights! Nepal Adventure Point is run by BB Bhandari an extremely professional and helpful man who is devoted to promoting sustainable tourism in Nepal. This company took the time to advise us personally on every aspect of the trip, the best time of year to travel and the most suitable route, and they sorted out all the hiking permits, transport and accommodation. We had a marvelous time and are already planning to come back next year!

Vom 22.10.2017 bis 12.11.2017 besuchte ich mit Freunden bereits zum vierten Mal Nepal für meinen Aktivurlaub. Diesmal unternahmen wir ein Trekking im Upper Mustang. Bereits zum dritten Mal organisierte ich meinen Nepal-Urlaub mit „Nepal Adventure Point“. „Nepal Adventure Point“ hat seinen Sitz in Kathmandu. Jedes Mal organisierte ich meinen Urlaub von der Schweiz aus (via Mailkontakt) und es funktionierte stets tadellos. Den Direktor, Mr. BB Bhandari, lernte ich bei meinem ersten Nepalbesuch als Guide kennen (damals noch bei einer anderen Organisation) und in der Zwischenzeit ist er zu einem guten Freund geworden. Als Mr. BB Bhandari zu „Nepal Adventure Point“ wechselte und Direktor wurde, war für mich klar, in Zukunft werde ich meinen Nepalurlaub von „Nepal Adventure Point“ organisieren lassen und ich wurde nie enttäuscht. Mr. BB Bhandari und sein Team sind kompetent und zuverlässig. In der Planung des Urlaubs wurden wir stets hervorragend beraten und unterstützt. Sie sind hilfsbereit, sehr flexibel und gehen auf Wünsche und Bedürfnisse ihrer Gäste ein. Die Führer und Träger sind sehr erfahren, hilfsbereit, sympathisch und sprechen sehr gut englisch. Ich fühlte mich stets sicher und gut aufgehoben. „Nepal Adventure Point“ ist ein sicherer Wert und kann ich jedem Nepalbesucher sehr empfehlen.
