AMAZING JUST BOOK IT
Nepal High Trek was amazing!! Nabin was my guide and he was SO COOL!! Always made sure I was comfortable and safe. Planned everything out super well and was patient when I was slow at certain points in the trek. The communication was very professional from start to finish. I had the most amazing time!! I hope to come back to Nepal and do another trek with this company and hopefully with Nabin!
The whole trip was a blessing from the start with. Professional communication via WhatsApp upfront and a timely start on the first day. We took the joint jeep that certainly was an experience and so was the full trip. The sights in Langtang are amazing and the food was delicious (I expected mostly instant noodles but instead there were freshly cooked meals every day three times!). The guesthouses were rustic but full on of Charme - certainly not hotel standards but that’s exactly what you want in the depths of the mountains! All in all a great experience! Some word of advise for the western traveler: expect noisy (and maybe heated ?!) discussions between the Nepalese guides in the evening and don’t be suprised if your guide is watching TikTok while taking a breathtaking peak climb up to 5000m high. Expect a 30min break of walking in the middle of nowhere to cut down some plants to make tea for the village at home, expect your guide going after the descent for a long walk to some pilgrim places and only return in the dark from the mountains! Expect some craziness along the way and embrace it - soak up the adventure and enjoy the ride!

We had an incredible time in Langtang Valley with Nepal High Trek. The scenery was beautiful walking through the valley up to the snow capped peaks, and the teahouses we stayed in were so cosy with lovely hosts. Before we arrived the communication with the company was so helpful, confirming our arrival time for airport pickup and providing us with additional gear we would need such as trekking poles and sleeping bags. What made the trip extra special was our guide Laku and porter Rajan. They both went the extra mile to make sure we were happy along the way, always checking in on our wellbeing and providing us with anything we needed to be comfortable including snacks, hot drinks and positive encouragement. As we were beginner trekkers, Laku always put our safety first ensuring we acclimatised slowly up to Tserko Ri, regularly checked in on our pace to make sure it was comfortable for us, and even provided a hand (literally held our hand when unsteady) as we went down some of the steeper slopes. Rajan was always smiling and in good spirits, and taught us local card games that we played each night after dinner. They also surprised me with a chocolate pancake stack on my birthday, which was a special treat being up in the mountains. All in all we highly recommend Laku, Rajan and Nepal High Trek, and will definitely be back in the future.
The 5-day Langtang Valley Trek with Indako as my guide was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to ensure I had an unforgettable experience, whether it was guiding me to breathtaking viewpoints, introducing me to local cuisine, or sharing insights into his life and Nepali culture and so many other caring details. His attentiveness and care truly made a difference, making me feel both welcomed and well-supported throughout the journey! In the end I choose to go with Indako for another (longer) trek as well based on this great experience. Also the contact with Anjan and the Nepal High Trek team was smooth and professional from the beginning and I always felt in safe hands. As for Langtan Valley it was a really nice trek where I just in 5 days got to experience spectacular views of the Himalayas, experience the culture of the region and the hospitality of the tea houses along the way. In summary, if you’re considering trekking in Nepal, I wholeheartedly recommend Nepal High Trek and Indako as your guide!
