Sherpa Expedition is a super reliable company. Ram was really helpful from the start—our original plan was to trek to Everest Base Camp, but bad weather kept flights grounded at Lukla for days. In just a couple of hours, we came up with a great backup plan for the Annapurna Circuit and set off the same day. What made this experience truly unforgettable was Rames, an incredible guide who supported me the whole way. He gave me great tips on everything—food, where to stay, managing fatigue, the best times to move, and tons of interesting facts about the places we passed through. No matter how tough the trek got, he always made me feel comfortable. Rames is super knowledgeable, professional, and also really fun to be around. He made my trip unforgettable. I’ll definitely recommend Sherpa Expedition to my friends heading to Nepal—especially Rames. He’s the best guide you could ask for!

My experience with Sherpa Teams was nothing but exceptional. Communication with the company while abroad was easy and I always received responses very quickly. The company loans you gear for free to use on the trek which was very appreciated. The trek was very well organized and really enjoyable! Our guide Dawa is highly conversational in English. I just returned from the 15 day Annapurna Circuit trek, and what an incredible experience! From the first email enquiry I felt totally confident in the team - questions were answered quickly and completely, ensuring I felt confident to begin. On the trek - my guide Lhakpa was excellent: highly experienced and knowledgeable, but also friendly and fun - many laughs were had along the way. The views are stunning, the scenery ever changing, the early starts and cold weather totally worth it to reach the pass and feel that achievement. I cannot recommend the company highly enough - I hope to return soon to embark on another trek.

Dawa and the two porters we have are very helpful. They really take good care of us and ensure we are doing fine on every stop. Dawa to us is exceptional professional. He’s honest with us feedback on every terrain and always motivate us along the way. My lungs are not functioning as what I wanted and he is patient enough to walk with me slowly to the tea house. I am so grateful with him and would highly recommend to engage him again if possible.

I recently completed the 19-day Annapurna Round Trek with Sherpa Expedition & Trekking. I cannot praise my guide, Ang Dawa Sherpa, enough. From start to finish, the experience was incredible, and the trek was organized flawlessly. I learned about Sherpa Expedition & Trekking through a friend and used reviews here only to confirm my choice. I just returned from Nepal, which was my first trip outside of Europe. I learned about the Sherpa Expedition and Trekking through a friend who did an EBC with them. After this experience, I wholeheartedly recommend the company, especially my guide - Ang Dawa Sherpa. I was coming to Nepal with a fair share of scepticism about a "life-changing experience", but I must admit this trip was exactly like this. Largely because I was lucky enough to hit the jackpot with a tour company and guide. I can tell you all about my experience with Dawa, but he's a three-time Everest climber, so his experience speaks for his competence. He adjusted the trip to meet my needs, like when I wanted to hike a bit longer or chill an extra day. He constantly checked in to ensure I was comfortable. He also knew the best routes, called ahead to tea houses to ensure smooth meals and accommodations and even arranged visits to temples I wouldn't have discovered on my own. One of the unexpected things that I appreciate is that he shared his culture openly, explaining the significance of prayer wheels, flags, and mantras. He guided me in engaging with these practices. After the trek, he helped me find mala beads and a prayer bowl, and he took me to meet a Buddhist lama for a blessing - again, not something I could do on my own. By the trek's end, it felt like I was leaving a friend behind. Ram's pre-trip organization was equally impressive. He responded quickly, clearly communicated, and ensured every detail was perfect. He handled changes to my itinerary without hassle, like switching from a bus to a flight from Pokhara or arranging an extra night in Kathmandu. I also appreciated the sightseeing tour before the trek, which gave me a great intro to the Nepalese culture.
