Kamal organized a great trip, and the guides, cooks, porters, and other staff were excellent. The food was good and nourishing. I felt safe throughout the trip. We flew into Skardu to begin the trip, and we took the Karakoram Highway back to Islamabad on the return. Our time in Islamabad was fun, interesting, and safe before and after the trek. Kamal took us to some great restaurants, and recommended other places of interest to help fulfill the trip. I would take another trip to Pakistan with Snowland Treks an Tours. I have been to K2 basecamp with Snowland Tours twice. Went there in 2015 and then in 2019 (date selection above is wrong - was the only 12 months choice). First trek was Askole to Askole trek but the second one was over Gondogoro La arriving back in Hushe. Snowland has proven to be the best trekking compnay so far. After having done Mount Everest base camp and Kilimanjaro, I can safely say Snowland knows how to take care of their people and make them successful. I would recommend them over anyone else out there in Pakistan.

I can definitely say that Kamal is an unmistakable leader in organizing trips around Pakistan. Been working with him since 2018 and he helped with more than 5 groups. His main specialty is K2 trek which we did with his team in July 2019 but he can also help you with Hunza trips as well. During the k2 trek one of our team members got altitude sickness and Kamal organized helicopters for us and was helping our friend during his stay at the hospital until he got better. He also helps with all the permissions you may need including LOI for visa approvals. He is a very nice and polite person with really good English.

I did the K2, Concordia and Gasherbrum BC trek in 2012. I've spent my life doing some of the greatest treks of the world and without a doubt the pinnacle of my trekking experiences was the K2 trek. Nowhere else will you find so many 8000m peaks in close proximity, no other mtn range is as wild, rugged and awe aspiring as the Karakoram and for most of us no other trek you will do will be traversing one of the largest glaciers outside the polar regions. I left the K2 trek content that if something were to happen to me I would have accomplished one of my life's greatest dreams, seeing K2 and its amazing sister peaks. It's not just K2 which will enthrall you. There are countless other peaks which will take your breath away and enthrall you including Trango Towers, Masherbrum, Broad Peak. We're talking pure adventure without extreme risks, where a reasonably fit person can experience what would normally only be accessible to extreme skilled back country explorers. Snowland was a good choice as they provided us with the means to complete the trek at a very reasonable price. We were trekking for about 19 days I think, a substantial undertaking. I found the lead guide Akbar very friendly patient and knowledgeable, the porters friendly, the cook made some great meals and the overall organization of the trek good. We flew to Skardu, stayed in a good hotel, had quality jeeps to make the long journey to Askole and we returned to Islamabad via the Karakoram Highway, another classic trip in itself. We found the Pakistani people very friendly, felt safe at all times and satisfied with the experience. Youll meet people who've been to Kiliminjaro, Everest, and other well known mtns but you won't meet many people in your life who have been to K2, it's true adventure to one of the most amazing places on the planet.
