Third Rock Adventures

Returning from the “Mardi Himal Base Camp” trek accompanied by Jaya, the best Nepalese guide without hesitation, it was a very good experience. A trek accessible to all, with very beautiful landscapes. The guide did everything to make my experience the best. I highly recommend the Third Rock Adventures agency, and especially Jaya!

Great tour company. They were completely prepared and punctual with very fair pricing. They treated us like family guests and were so nice. They were transparent about costs and pricing. Our guide Jaya was so nice. Over our trek we felt like we became best friends. He taught us about Nepali culture and helped me learn many phrases in Nepali. We are doing another trek later in our trip and he gave us great advice for training preparation and gear. He knew the trail off the top of his head! He took us to great clean places to eat and hotels to stay at. We hiked from Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park (Sundarijal) to Chisopani to Nagarkot. We can’t recommend Third Rock Adventure enough.

I had an incredible experience with Third Rock Adventure, and I highly recommend their services to anyone traveling in Nepal. Everything was well-organized, and their team ensured a smooth and enjoyable trip. I did the Namobuddha hike with my guide, Jaya, who was fantastic. The hike offered breathtaking mountain views, and Jaya was knowledgeable, polite, and accommodating. Visiting Namobuddha Monastery was particularly special for me, given my interest in Buddhism. Seeing the gompa, the stupa, and the shrine dedicated to the “Tiger Buddha” (Prince Mahasattva) added a deeply meaningful aspect to the journey. The peaceful atmosphere and spiritual significance of the site made it an unforgettable experience. The next day, I took the Pharping tour with Ram, an excellent driver who made the trip even better. We visited the Kali Temple, Padmasambhava Statue, Vajrayogini Temple, and Asura Cave, all of which were fascinating sites rich in history and spiritual importance. Ram was professional, courteous, and ensured a comfortable journey. What stood out most was his willingness to go beyond the itinerary—he took me to some additional local sights and made an impromptu stop at Kirtipur Durbar Square on the way back to Kathmandu. Exploring the old Newari architecture and historic charm of Kirtipur was an unexpected highlight of the day. Overall, I had a fantastic time in Nepal, and Third Rock Adventure played a huge role in making it memorable. Their team is professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to providing an excellent experience. Highly recommended! Thank you for the amazing journey.
