Trekking Trail

We trekked in The Himalaya to celebrate our 60th birthdays. We choose Trekking Trails as they were a Nepalese company based in Katmandu and were responsive to our enquiries. We trekked Manaslu, it was fantastic and challenging and lived upto our expectations. Our guide Hari was supportive and entertaining whilst Shiva our porter was strong and shy. We revised our itinerary after Manaslu, choosing not to continue with the Annapurna trail. We drove to Pokhara, staying at The Temple Tree Hotel then a flight on to Chitwan to experience a walking jungle safari, staying at Travellers Jungle Lodge, Sauraha. Trekking trails were very efficient and personable. They accommodated our needs and adapted to our varying plans. Each driver and guide they recommended was professional and pleasant. We have experienced a memorable trip for a significant birthday.

We have done 5-days ABC trek. An unforgettable journey: challenging yet joyful. Over five days, we traversed snowy mountains, encountering breathtaking scenery with thousands of peaks shrouded in deep clouds. In the wilderness, we faced the wind and endless clouds, basking in the unfettered sunshine and the promise of growth. Walking hand in hand, showing kindness and perseverance, we witnessed each other's struggles and moments of embarrassment. Thanks to Trekking Trail for giving us a wonderful time. Our tour guide, Lokendra, was amazing and very helpful, providing lots of care and love. The porters were very friendly and supportive, doing an excellent job. Without their guidance throughout the journey, we wouldn’t have had such a wonderful experience.

The team at Trekking Trail Nepal provided the best service that made for an incredible experience. From Madhev, the Operations director, our guide Lokendra, porters Jayendra and Bikash to the driver who safely got us to and from the start of the trek, everything went very smooth and we felt very well taken care of. I would absolutely do another trek with this company again and highly recommend using them if you are looking for a reputable trekking company to work with. Annapurna Base Camp and being able to see the Himalayas was a dream come true for me and I couldn't have asked for a better team to help make that happen.

What a great trip! Right from the start I was glad we selected Trekking Trail as our guide. Every question we sent was promptly answered (and I had many) prior to our arrival in Nepal. Once we arrived the operations director was flexible on when we met and even helped us getting a local sim card. Once we arrived in Pokhara our guide Lokendra and our porter Jayendra met us and provided us what we needed to start our trek the next morning. On the trail we were joined by another porter (Bikash) and 2 more trekkers. We would be a group of 7 for the next 5 days. The trek was definitely challenging for me but absolutely doable and our guide and porters were helpful and patient. They were also fun and easy to chat with. Everything along the trail was well planned leaving me with nothing to do but focus on the trek and enjoy the beauty of the Himalayas. Annapurna base camp is unforgettable. The mountains will take your breath away. The journey will challenge you but the jungle, waterfalls, rivers and mountains will keep you moving and the destination is worth the effort. Travelled to Lo Manthang with Trekking Trails. Everything was well managed, from answering all queries during booking and leading up to the tour, to the hotels and cars and other logistics during the tour. Apar and team are amazing and I would highly recommend planning your Nepal adventure with them. Look forward to another trip with them in the future.
