At the turn of September and October my friends and I spent wonderful eighteen days on a trip organized by “Visit in Pakistan - Treks, Tours and Expeditions”. We travelled over 3000 km around the northern Pakistan in the company of Kamal. Kamal addition to being a great guide, was an exceptional ”Teacher” of everyday life in Pakistan, We visited Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Kalash Valley, Chintral, Shandur Pass, Gupis Valley, Chinese border, Hunza, Passu glacier and –Finally!- we took a hike to a viewpoint to K2 and another one to Fairy Meadows with the view of Nanga Parbat. The trip was very intense and thanks to Kamal and our amazing driver we could enjoy both the beautiful views and the everyday life of Pakistani people. We had a chance to get wonderfully exhausted during the trekking to the K2 and Nanga Parbat viewpoints. The organizing of the trekking with three nights in tents, tasty food and marvelous porters was unforgettable . We really recommend that experience! All in all- it was a trip of a lifetime. Our group of 12 friends from North Carolina just completed the K2 Base Camp and Gondogoro La trek with Visit in Pakistan Treks, and it was truly the adventure of a lifetime. From landing in Islamabad, the team handled everything—from smooth airport transfers to hotel stays and trek preparations. Our guide, Nabi, was fantastic—knowledgeable, approachable, and always ready with tips and encouragement. The trek itself was challenging but incredibly rewarding. K2 Base Camp was awe-inspiring, and the views from Gondogoro La were beyond words. The landscape is stunning, with snow-capped peaks and glaciers at every turn. Though the trek was tough, the sense of accomplishment once we crossed the pass was unmatched. A special shoutout to the porters and crew, who made the trek easier and more enjoyable. Their hard work, care, and positive attitude kept us motivated throughout. The cultural warmth we experienced along the way was heartwarming. We met trekkers from all over the world and made new friends along the journey. We highly recommend Visit in Pakistan Treks for anyone seeking an unforgettable, organized adventure in the Karakoram. I had an exceptional visit to Pakistan for several reasons: 1. The breathtaking landscapes, featuring majestic mountains of varying heights, some adorned with snow and glaciers, and vibrant rock formations in the northeastern region of the country. The natural beauty here rivals that of Switzerland. 2. The warmth and friendliness of the people in the northeast were truly remarkable. Their welcoming smiles and eagerness to share their photos made the experience even more memorable. Notably, the locals, regardless of age, embody the same charm and grace as the stunning scenery. Key destinations that should not be missed include Skardu, Gilgit, Hunza, Khaplu, Naran, the Khunjerab Pakistan-China border, Deosai National Park, Shigar Fort, Khaplu Fort, and Baltit Fort in Hunza. I extend my sincere gratitude to Visit in Pakistan for providing us with the invaluable opportunity to experience the unparalleled beauty of the country and its remarkable people.

We have spent 2 weeks in the Karakorum mountains trekking to Concordia Camp and enjoyed the beauty of the nature, the stunning mountains, the remoteness, the hospitality of people and a lot of precious family time. The whole trip was very well organized with our knowledgeable guide Nabi and our chef Ascari. We felt safe and the food helped us to sustain to walk 160km on stones and the glacier. Well done, guys!
